The Davis Cup pits national teams against each other in matches that bring out a boisterous yet warm fan culture. This successful combination has helped the tournament endure for over 120 years. This year’s Davis Cup by Rakuten Finals have now released tickets for the event, which is due to take place 25 November - 5 December 2021.
The Finals will see socially-distanced fans at all 3 of its venues. Olympiahalle in Innsbruck, Austria will host Groups C and F, and a quarterfinal, whilst the Pala Alpitour in Turin, Italy will also host a quarterfinal, as well as Groups D and E. The Madrid Arena in Spain will host Groups A and B, as well as the quarterfinals, semifinals, and grand final.
In order for any team to make it to the knock-out phase - the quarterfinals onwards - they must first progress through the group stage. Each team plays the 2 other teams in its group, with matches comprised of 2 singles and 1 doubles match – known as a “tie”. In the knock-out stages, ties will feature 2 singles matches, and a doubles match will only be played if each team wins a singles match each.

Fans hoping to cheer on their national team will be well-equipped to do just that: “Follow Your Country” packages are on offer in Madrid and Innsbruck, allowing the buyer to watch all of the ties within a given group, or even follow their specific team through its group and into the quarterfinal - if they get so lucky!
At the Pala Alpitour, all 7 sessions from Thursday 25 November to Monday 29 November can be viewed via individual tickets, as well as all being combined under 1 package deal.
In Madrid, spectators can also purchase a mammoth 11-session bundle, permitting them entry to every match taking place in the Spanish capital. Alternatively, fans can choose to just catch the action at the business end of the tournament: a “Quarterfinals Pass”, “Semifinals Pass”, and combined “Knock-Out Phase Pass” are all on offer!
At the Davis Cup Finals, seating is generally divided into 3 categories, providing a welcome mix of affordable options. Category 1 houses the best seats at a more premium cost, whilst Category 3 seats are a little further from the court at a lower price. Children are also entitled to discounted tickets, proving the Davis Cup Finals’ dedication to its family-friendly tag! By diversifying its venues, and catering for all budgets and ages, the Davis Cup Finals is sure to see the same unmissable fan atmosphere for which it is famous.
