This clay-court event has taken place against the iconic backdrop of the Foro Italico in Rome since 1935, and remains a key tournament on the calendar, being part of both the men’s ATP 1000 tour and women’s WTA Premier tour.
The 2020 competition was rescheduled to September and played behind closed doors as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. The singles winners were Novak Djokovic and Simona Halep for the men and women respectively.
2021 returns to its usual spot in Spring, taking place 3 - 16 May 2021 with safety measures implemented to allow spectators back to watch the event live.
Spectators have a choice of Central Court, Grandstand Arena, and Ground tickets, and with tickets starting from just €4.40, there are options to suit all budgets.
