Children aged 11 and under can attend this raceday free of charge in General Admission areas. Please select a zero-value ticket when booking. There are also family package deals for families of various sizes. There are also discounted tickets for children aged 12-16 years. Racegoers aged 17 and over are classified as an adult unless they hold valid concession identification.
There are concession tickets available for full-time students with a valid student ID in General Admission areas.

A taxi rank is located near the Members Main Entrance (left of the Phar Lap Statue or drop off racegoers in Leonard Crescent via Langs Road. Enter off Epsom Road onto Flemington Drive.
Bus is a popular way to reach the racecourse because of its links to Williamstown, Footscary, and Moonee Ponds via multiple routes:
On racedays, one of the easiest ways to reach the course is via train to Flemington Racecourse Station which is located near to the main stands. All train services are wheelchair accessible and passengers who need help boarding trains should wait on the platform near the front of the train.
Tram is also a popular way to reach the course. From the corner of Elizabeth Street and Flinders Street, catch the No. 57 West Maribyrnong tram to Flemington Drive (stop 30) which is then a 450 m (5 min) walk to the main entrance. Please note, low-floor trams do not run on Route 57 and it is therefore recommended passengers using a mobility aid should catch the train to the racecourse.
