Angers Sporting Club de l’Ouest, commonly known as Angers SCO and also called Le SCO, Les Scoïstes, Les Noirs et Blancs and Les Angevins, is a professional football club from Angers, France. They compete in French association football, most notably in Ligue 1, and play home matches at the Stade Raymond-Kopa.
Founded in 1919, the club has often moved between the top two tiers of the French game, earning a reputation for resilience and prudent development. Notable moments include appearances in the Coupe de France final in 1957 and 2017, and several promotions that have restored top-flight status at different times. The black-and-white colours are a long-standing emblem of the side, and the stadium honours Raymond Kopa, who began his professional career with Angers before achieving international acclaim.
