Take 22W to 376W (Monroeville), through Squirrel Hill Tunnel, take Grant Street exit to 7th Avenue, turn right to PPG Paints Arena. Take Route 22E to 376 Business, through Ft. Pitt Tunnel, bear right (towards Monroeville) and take the first exit on left (Grant Street) to 7th Avenue, turn right to PPG Paints Arena.

Accessible parking is available in a number of lots near PPG Paints Arena. These lots include the East Lot, North Lot, South Lot, and West Lot. Designated spaces are available for vehicles displaying a current state-issued disability placard or license plate. These accessible spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so please plan accordingly.

Uber is convenient for fans and guests attending all events at PPG Paints Arena. Uber will help you skate past the parking lot crowds with a special drop-off and pickup area off of Fullerton Street on Wylie Avenue - across from the Arena's Verizon Gate!

Bus is a popular way to reach the PPG Paints Arena because of its connections with multiple routes:

The PPG Paints Arena is close to Pittsburgh Union Station which is the main train station in the city and provides connections to stations across the country. Pittsburgh Union Station is a 1.2 km (14 min) walk from the arena.

The arena can be reached via cable railway, on the funicular line:

Port Authority's light rail service - commonly known as the "T" - connects three Downtown stations with Station Square and the South Hills. Downtown stations are located at Steel Plaza, Wood Street, and First Avenue, with Steel Plaza located closest to PPG Paints Arena, at Ross Street, and 6th Avenue. Service within the Golden Triangle is free at all times.

Pittsburgh's bike sharing system is POGOH and is perfect for quick trips around the city. You can pick up a bicycle at 50 stations throughout the city, return the bike at one of the other stations, and move about their day.

There is also a Healthy Ride Bike Sharing Station on Centre Avenue just a 200 m (2 min) walk from the arena.

As the PPG Paints Arena is located in downtown Pittsburgh, it is close to many sites, eateries, bars, and shops. Within walking distance, there's Duquesne University (600 m (7 min) walk from the arena), the Fort Pitt Museum and Fort Duquesne (1.6 km (19 min) walk), and the Fourth Avenue Historic District (1.0 km (12 min) walk).
