Valencia Basket Club, also known as Valencia Basket or Valencia BC and nicknamed "Taronja" for their orange colours, is a professional basketball club from Valencia, Spain. They compete in Spain’s top tier, the Liga ACB, and regularly feature in European competitions such as the EuroLeague and EuroCup.
Founded in the mid-1980s, the club quickly grew into one of Spain’s strongest sides. Internationally, Valencia have been especially successful in Europe’s secondary competition, winning multiple EuroCup titles, including the inaugural edition in 2003 and further triumphs in 2010, 2014 and 2019. Domestically, a landmark moment arrived with the club’s first Liga ACB championship in 2017. Home games are played at Roig Arena. The club is recognised for its competitive consistency, strong youth development, and a passionate fan base that has helped cement Valencia’s status among Europe’s respected basketball organisations.
