Visitors can also take the above ground train to get to The Liacouras Station. Get off at Temple University which is 1.1 km (13 min) walk to the venue.

It’s easy to explore much of Philly on foot. However, there are buses, bike rentals, trams, and the Philadelphia Phlash Downtown Loop at hand too, just in case your feet get tired.

About The Liacouras Center

The Liacouras Center is a multi-sport venue located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Opened in 1997, it was initially named "The Apollo of Temple'", a reference to the Apollo Theatre in Harlem. It was renamed in 2000 after the President of Temple University, Peter J. Liacouras.

With a capacity of 10,000, the venue's outstanding acoustics and lighting help create an exciting atmosphere within the arena and optimize each seating position. It's an ideal place for any show, event, and special occasion.

A premier basketball facility, The Liacouras Center also plays host to other sporting events such as gymnastics, boxing, and wrestling.

Offering Philadelphia originals as well as fan favourites, the Liacouras Center's concession stands have it all. Stop by Chickie's and Pete's for their signature Crab Fries, grab a cheesesteak at Tony Luke's, or pick up some delicious boneless buffalo wings and craft beer at P.J. Whelihan's.
The venue also offers a variety of arena favourites like pizza, hot dogs, and pretzels. Looking for something sweet? Check out Bassetts for ice cream and other dessert novelties.
All concession stands accept Visa or Mastercard. Only a few portable stands accept cash only.
No food or drink can be brought into the arena.
