A number of buses operated by Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) can be used to travel to Spectrum Center. The closest stop to the venue in all cases is Charlotte Transportation Center.
Light Rail
Charlotte's Lynx light rail service is one of the easiest ways to travel in the city. Both lines, Blue and Gold, can be used when travelling to Spectrum Center.
Amtrak
Charlotte's Amtrak station is located in the north of the city, approximately 2.7 km (32 min) from Spectrum Center. The Carolinian/Piedmont line travels between Charlotte and New York daily (stopping at cities like Philadelphia and Washington DC on the way).
Charlotte is a relatively inexpensive city to visit, especially compared to some of the more touristy cities in the US like LA and Chicago. While there are plenty of high-end hotels for the discerning tourist and business traveller, most of its accommodation is affordable yet trendy.
No outside food, beverages, coolers, bottles or cans may be brought into the arena. Inside the venue, Spectrum Center boasts a wide range of food and beverage outlets for fans to enjoy during their visit. These include:
The main entrances to Spectrum Center are at the north side of the venue on Fifth Street, and the west side of the venue on Trade Street.
Doors open 1 hour before most events.
Re-entry is not permitted.
Restrooms are available on all levels of the venue. Designated family facilities are located near Sections 102, 111, 212, and 228.

Access to Spectrum Center
The venue encourages guests with disabilities to enter on the Fifth Street side of the building, near the disabled drop-off location (just in front of the door). Guests with disabilities can also access the arena through the Trade Street entrance and use the elevator located directly inside the main entrance.

Assisted Listening Devices
Assisted listening devices are available to guests at Guest Services (near the main lobby outside Section 102). A driver’s license, credit card or some form of identification will be required as a deposit.
Service Animals
Animals are generally not allowed in Spectrum Center, however, exceptions are made for guide dogs or service animals.
Interpreting Services
An interpreting service is available at Spectrum Center. Guests requiring this service should contact the venue on (704) 688-8128 no later than 3 weeks after ticket sales begin.
Guest Experience Booths
During any event, members of the venue's Guest Experience team are stationed at Guest Experience booths outside Sections 102 and 208.
ATMs
ATMs are located outside Sections 102, 111, and 201. As Spectrum Center is now a cashless venue at all concession stands and retail locations, reverse ATM kiosks are located in the Box Office lobby and outside Sections 102 and 210.
