🅿️ Parking

There are 1,400 parking spaces located onsite and within easy walking distance of the Agganis Arena.

The Arena has a few different locations for standard event parking:

Agganis Arena Garage A/ C-2 –100 m (1 min) walk
Langsam Garage B – 500 m (6 min) walk
Buick Street Lot D – 250 m (3 min) walk
CFA Lot E – 400 m (5 min) walk
Essex St. Garage & Lot F –750 m (9 min) walk

The Agganis Arena parking garages are attended daily (except holidays) from 7:00 to 23:00. On event days, the garages open 90 minutes prior to the start of the performance.

Agganis Arena Hotels & Accommodation

Boston is a fairly small city, which has the benefit that most attractions and go-to places are within close range.

📍 Where To Stay

First-timers in Boston may want to stay in the downtown/waterfront area as you’ll be within very close quarters of most of the famous landmarks and tourist attractions. The area is great for its picturesque walks and abundance of bars and restaurants to choose from. Plus, the waterfront’s good range of hotels mean you should be able to find one that suits your budget.

If you’re looking to immerse yourself in Boston’s history, try staying in or around Beacon Hill and Back Bay. Known for their redbrick paths and Victorian townhouses, staying here will be more expensive, but it is an amazing place to spend time in.

About Agganis Arena

The Agganis Arena is a 7,200-seat multi-purpose arena located at Boston University on the former Commonwealth Armory site. The arena is home to the five-time national champion Boston University Terriers men's ice hockey team. The venue is named after Harry Agganis, a former football and baseball player for Boston University and the Boston Red Sox, who died at 26 of a massive pulmonary embolism.

The Agganis Arena, located within a 10-acre hub designed to be a thriving centre of student life and athletics, is a popular venue for sports, concerts, and other forms of entertainment. It features state-of-the-art technology, including a huge four-sided centre-hung scoreboard.

The arena often serves as a venue for professional wrestling events, basketball games, ice hockey matches, indoor rowing, and concerts.

🍔 Food & Drink

The Arena features concession stands and specialty kiosks offering a wide variety of freshly prepared food. From fresh pretzels, to classic cheeseburgers, to dried fruit and snacks.
Concession stands include Commonwealth Concessions (2 locations on the East and West Concourse), Rhett's Ice Cream (North end of the Concourse), Terrier Town (North end of the Concourse), Terrier Grill (Southwest corner of the Concourse), and North End Pizza (Southeast corner of the Concourse)
Outside food and beverages are not permitted in Agganis Arena.

💂 Entry Gates

Visitors can enter through the southeast arena main entrance and lobby.

The main lobby entrance is accessible to guests with disabilities, as are all arena entrances, hallways, and pathways.

🚽 Toilets

All public restrooms are equipped with accessible sinks, stalls, and amenities. There are 15 public restrooms located throughout the Arena:

9 public restrooms are located on the Concourse Level
4 public restrooms are located on the Entry Level
2 public restrooms are located on the Event Level.

All public restrooms are equipped with baby-changing stations and are accessible to guests in wheelchairs.

🧑‍🦽 Disabled Facilities

Seating

The Arena offers accessible and companion seating located on the Concourse and Event Levels for all events (accessible seating locations are subject to change based on the seating configuration for various events). Please contact the Arena Ticket Office if you require accessible and companion seating.

Drop-off location

The accessible drop-off location is located on the corner of Harry Agganis Way and Commonwealth Avenue. The Main Lobby Entrance is accessible to guests with disabilities, as are all arena entrances, hallways, and pathways.

Parking

Accessible parking spaces are available in all parking lots associated with the Arena.

Sign Interpreters

The Arena offers interpretive services to guests with hearing disabilities. Any request for interpretive services must be made at least 10 days prior to an event and approved by Arena management. Due to the preparation necessary to assure high-quality interpretation, guests are encouraged to provide as much advance notice as possible to the Arena. Service Animals

Service animals that assist guests with disabilities are welcome into the Arena. Service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times. Please contact the Arena Ticket Office if you intend to bring a service animal to an event, so an aisle seat may be reserved for you.

Elevators

Guests with disabilities receive preferential access to elevators during all Arena events. The Arena has a total of four passenger elevators: two in the southeast corner of the Arena serving Lot A, and one each in the southwest and northwest corners of the Arena providing access from the Arena lobby to the Concourse Level. The southwest and northwest corner elevators are reserved for Loge Suite and Premium Suite holders and guests with disabilities.
