For the best access between the cities, stay in Moline, IL, or Bettendorf, IA, which sit at opposite ends of the I-74 bridge over the Mississippi River. Meanwhile, the Centennial Bridge connects Davenport to Rock Island.

Rock Island is considered the most cultural of the Quad Cities, as it is rich in history and art. Both the Broadway National Historic District and Arts and Entertainment District are centered here.

As the largest of the Quad Cities, Davenport offers the best nightlife and entertainment. Head to booming Bucktown for its best bars and restaurants. The best of the Quad Cities’ shopping can also be found in Davenport along the intersection of I-75 and East 53rd Street.

Although there is a Metro bus system running in the Quad Cities, the best way to get around is by car or taxi.
