Park and ride
A regular park and ride service operates from Enderby, south of central Leicester, between Mondays and Saturdays. For more information, see the Coach and Bus section.
Other car parks
Paid parking is also available at the King Power Stadium, a 700 m (8 min) walk away from Welford Road. A free shuttle bus travels between the 2 stadia on Leicester Tigers match days - see Coach & Bus for more information.
Other paid off-site options include:
There are also many paid city centre car parks north of the stadium. For park and ride options, see the Coach & Bus section.
Non-match day parking
On non-match days, the Tigers' own Crumbie car park is available for use, with a £5 fee on arrival. It is located off Aylestone Road, a mere 70 m (1 min) from the stadium.
Leicester offers a range of mid-range and budget hotels at reasonable prices. Most accommodation is located in the city centre itself near to its best restaurants, shops, and bars.
On most match days there are food and drink outlets within the concourses of all 4 stands and outside the turnstiles, with offerings including crisps, curries, vegan food, beer, and soft drinks. Typical match day outlets include:
Most outlets typically open 1 hour 30 minutes before kick-off.
All turnstiles open 1 hour 30 minutes before kick-off. The Final Whistle Bar in the Yodel (North) Stand opens 3 hours before kick-off, and can be accessed before the turnstiles open.
Accessibility
Welford Road houses 100 wheelchair-accessible match viewing areas, and all function, hospitality, and conference spaces are also fully accessible. Many of Welford Road's food and drink outlets have lowered counters suitable for wheelchair users.
Fans who may require an accessible seat but do not use a wheelchair (e.g. ambulant disabled, or those temporarily incapacitated by injury) should contact the stadium:
Toilets
There are several accessible toilet facilities throughout the stadium concourses. The Final Whistle Bar, located in the Yodel (North) Stand, also houses a toilet which is open from 3 hours before kick-off.
Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are permitted at Welford Road, but match day spectators should contact the stadium in advance of their visit, so that they can be best accommodated:
Hearing loops
There are hearing loop facilities available in all customer-facing areas, including the ticket office and main reception
It takes less than 10 minutes to travel by taxi from Leicester city centre or Leicester train station. It is equally quick to travel from many areas in the south of Leicester. From the north of the city or further afield it may take 15-20 minutes.
For dropping-off and picking-up, the car parks in the immediate vicinity of the stadium usually only permit paying long-stay customers on match days. Instead, the network of residential roads immediately to the west and south of the ground may be better a option, provided due care is given to residents. Another option is the Freemans Park cinema and supermarket complex on Aylestone Road/Welford Road, which is adjacent to the stadium; it is just a 500 m (6 min) walk away.
Park and ride
Leicester's park and ride service provides a good option for drivers who do not wish to navigate busy city centre traffic on match days. The park and ride service operates from Enderby Park And Ride car park (LE19 2AB), and runs every 15 minutes, Monday-Saturday 07:00-19:00. It takes approximately 10-15 minutes to make the journey to the stadium.

Public bus routes
The following public bus routes can be used to reach the stadium, on non-match days as well as match days:
Leicester (London Road) train station is the city's main rail hub, and is connected to the East Midlands, London, and the north of England, and also provides connected services to the West Midlands and other parts of the UK. The station is only a 1.2 km (14 min) walk from Welford Road station: turn right out of the station and make your way up the hill to Tigers Way, following that road all the way to the stadium. Alternatively, a taxi journey from the station to the stadium takes less than 10 minutes.
You can also choose to catch the 20 bus from Rutland Street to Sawday Street, which is a 110 m (1 min) walk to the stadium. Or, from Rutland Street, get the 86, 88, or 88A to Nelson Mandela Park, which is a 250 m (3 min) walk from the ground.
It is straightforward to cycle to Welford Road from Leicester city centre and many of the city's suburbs, particularly those in the south of the city. From Leicester train station it can take less than 10 minutes to reach the stadium by bike. Unconfident or inexperienced cyclists may wish to plan their journeys in advance, as there are a couple of busy arterial roads near to the stadium.
Welford Road stadium has a secure bike rack shelter which is monitored during matches. It is located in car park A (Abbey Street).
The stadium is not far at all from Leicester city centre - it is just a 1.2 km (14 min) walk from Leicester train station - and is surrounded by multiple parks and green spaces, as well as some city attractions.

There are 4 match day ticket offices, each housed inside a red booth - 2 of the booths are located in the Plaza, near to the Yodel (North) Stand, and there is 1 booth by each of Gate 26 (Mattioli Woods Stand) and the south-west corner (Beehive Money/Breedon Stands); all ticket offices are open from 12:00 until 1 hour after the final whistle. On non-match days, the ticket office is located in the Club Shop, in the Beehive Money Stand; its opening hours are 09:00-17:00, Monday-Saturday.
