The April Meeting is a thrilling 2-day jump (National Hunt) racing meeting for thoroughbred horses held annually in mid-April at the iconic Cheltenham Racecourse in the UK.
The dust has settled after the Cheltenham Festival has confirmed the racecourse's place as the "Home of Jump Racing" and the April Meeting is the perfect time to reflect on not only the competitive nature of the sport but also the joy that a day at the races can bring. April sees the end of the jumps season, so it is the ideal opportunity to see the runners and riders before their summer break when flat racing takes over.
