Scissor Sisters is an American band formed in 2001 in New York City. Their music is influenced by glam rock, dance-pop, alternative rock, and nu-disco. Their debut album, Scissor Sisters, released in 2004, was a commercial success and included hits like "Take Your Mama" and "Comfortably Numb." The band gained further acclaim with their 2006 album, Ta-Dah, featuring the major hit "I Don't Feel Like Dancin'."
