The Sanderson Farms Championship is a professional men's golf tournament, part of the PGA Tour since 1968. The event has been held under many names over the years but has always been played within the state of Mississippi. Since its inception, the Sanderson Farms Championship has raised more than $8 million for local charities.
While in the past it was often held as an alternate event to majors such as The Open and the Masters or even the Ryder Cup, in recent years it has been upgraded to a standalone event, boasting significantly more prize money and attracting some of golf's top stars to compete.
Taiwan's Kevin Yu is the defending champion; he earned his maiden PGA Tour title in the 2024 edition after holing out for a birdie in a playoff with Beau Hossler.
