On-site parking
Whilst the stadium's own car park is not open to spectators on event days, paid match day parking is available at the Newcastle Harness Racing Club, which is located adjacent to the stadium. The car park can be accessed via Jackson Street. Spaces typically cost between AUD $10-15 depending on the event, with payment possible on arrival for most events; spaces are allocated on an unreserved, first-come, first-served basis. To enquire about on-site car parking in advance of your visit, contact the stadium directly by telephone (02-4064-3050) or email (info@mcdonaldjonesstadium.com).
Off-site parking

It takes approximately 10-20 minutes to drive to McDonald Jones Stadium from central Newcastle. Visitors can make use of different drop-off areas, depending on whether they are using official taxi/rideshare services, or being dropped-off by family, a friend, or another driver. Disabled spectators should make use of the "other drop-offs" drop-off zone wherever possible, as it is located closer to the stadium than the taxi and rideshare taxi rank.
Taxis and rideshares
There is a stadium taxi rank located on Young Road, located an approximately 300 m (4 min) walk from the stadium. The taxi rank is signposted from the stadium, and stadium staff can also help spectators access taxi services.
Other drop-offs
There is a designated drop-off and pick-up zone within the stadium car park (not the Newcastle Harness Racing Club car park), less than 200 m (2 min) from the stadium entrances. This zone can be accessed via the stadium's North Driveway next to the official Newcastle Knights merchandise shop, off Turton Road. Cars may only be stopped in the drop-off zone for a maximum of 10 minutes.
