Norwood Oval's on-site car park, located off Woods Street, provides only a limited number of spaces, which regularly fill-up on event days. Those wishing to make use of the car park are strongly encouraged to arrive very early.
On-street parking
On-street car parking is available on many of the roads surrounding Norwood Oval, however some spaces do have a maximum stay of 2 hours, so drivers are encouraged to check the terms of their stay before leaving their cars. Some of the roads which offer parking include The Parade, Osmond Terrace, and Beulah Road, which are all located within a 500 m (6 min) walk of Norwood Oval.

It does not take long to drive to the Norwood Oval from Adelaide's Central Business District; from Adelaide train station, for example, it is a 10 to 30-minute drive, dependent on traffic. Drop-offs may be possible on roads close to the stadium which provide on-street parking, such as The Parade, Osmond Terrace, and Beulah Road, all of which are located within a 500 m (6 min) walk of Norwood Oval.
Please note that match day traffic may be busy, and there are one-way roads in the vicinity of the oval; attendees are encouraged to leave extra time for journeys, and arrive early if possible.

Train
Adelaide station, the city's main train, metro, and tram hub, is located a 3.3 km (40 min) walk from Norwood Oval. Alternatively, travellers can the 142, H22L, H20, or X30 buses from the station to The Parade or Kensington Road, with stops located within a 800 m (10 min) walk of the oval. Tram
The closest tram stop to Norwood Oval is the Botanic Gardens Tram Stop, which is located a 2.2 km (26 min) walk from the stadium. The stop is part of the "BTANIC" (Entertainment Centre to Botanic Gardens) line, and stops at Adelaide train station, as well as other inner-city destinations.
It takes less than 20 minutes to cycle to Norwood Oval from central Adelaide, and approximately 30 minutes from the city's western inner-city suburbs. From the eastern inner-city suburbs the journey may be much shorter. Conveniently, the stadium is located close to Adelaide's Norwood-Magill Bikeway, meaning there are cycle lanes and recommended routes signposted in the vicinity of the venue, in the direction of both the city's Central Business District and the eastern suburb of Magill.
There is one free bike rack located at the south-west corner of the oval, on Woods Street, a 50 m (1 min) walk from the stadium gates. A limited number of additional bike racks can be found outside businesses along The Parade, within a 400 m (5 min) walk of the oval.
Due to the often hot temperatures in the region, cyclists are encouraged to plan routes in advance and stay hydrated; long bike rides should be undertaken with caution.
Attendees coming from central Adelaide will be able to walk to Norwood Oval: it is just a 3.3 km (40 min) walk to the stadium from the city's Victoria Square, for example. From the east side of the inner-city the journey will likely be slightly shorter, whilst from Adelaide's west side the journey will be longer, so attendees may wish to make part or all of their journey via other means.
Due to the often hot temperatures in the region, people travelling on foot are encouraged to plan routes in advance and stay hydrated; long walks should be undertaken with caution.
