On-site parking in stadium car parks 3, 4, 9, or 10 is available to pre-book on an event-by-event basis - see individual events for exact prices. Pay-on-the-day parking is not usually possible at the stadium, particularly for large events. There is also a small allocation of disabled-accessible car parking, near to the Sharks club shop - the "Shark Cage" - at the south side of the stadium.

It is recommended that those who opt to use street parking ensure all belongings and valuables are stored out-of-sight, in the boot of the car, if they cannot be carried on one's person.
There are drop-off and pick-up zones on Masabalala Yengwa Avenue (by Durban Country Club) - a 1.3 km (16 min) walk from the stadium - and at the junction of Umgeni Road and Isaiah Ntshangase Road - a 1.6 km (19 min) walk from the stadium.
Accommodation in Durban is well priced, with the average hotel room costing around £40 per night, though more luxury options do exist. Most of the larger hotels are situated along the main waterfront, with many of them backing directly onto the beaches of the Golden Mile. This location allows easy access to many restaurants and attractions, such as the uShaka Marine World. The beach area is well policed and is one of the safest areas to stay in.

Moses Mabhida train station is the closest rail station to the stadium; it is located a 1.4 km (16 min) walk away. Durban railway station, the city's central rail hub, is also just a 3.0 km (36 min) walk away from Hollywoodbets Kings Park Stadium.
The Hollywoodbets Kings Park Stadium is located approximately a 5.0 km (60 min) walk north of Durban city centre. It is a viable journey to make on foot, but some visitors may wish to make part of journey by other means, and then walk the rest of the way, to save time and energy. If you are travelling to the stadium from either the north or south (including central Durban), there are many pleasant routes along the beach.
