There is no dedicated parking area at Eden Park, and parking on many of the streets surrounding the venue may be restricted on match day. However, if you have a disabled or reduced mobility parking permit, you can use the accessible spaces on Cricket Avenue, located less than a 60 m (1 min) walk from the stadium entrances. These spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis only; they are not able to be pre-booked.
Traffic regulations around Eden Park may also be in force, depending on the type of event hosted and the expected attendance for that event. It is strongly recommended that visitors who must travel by car check their event's Traffic Management Plan, in advance of their journey. For visitors who have the option of how to travel, we strongly recommend using public transport to get to the venue.
A taxi journey from Auckland city centre to Eden Park takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes. There is a taxi drop-off point on Cricket Avenue, which is directly adjacent to the venue.

Auckland isn’t the easiest city to get around, and public transport around the city centre can be a little slow. For this reason, many visitors prefer to stay in the central business district (CBD), where many of the main attractions of the city are within walking distance. Accommodation options in this area are broad, from cheap but clean backpacker hostels, to luxury hotels at SkyCity. Nightlife, restaurants, shops, and museums all abound in this area.

Eden Park is easily accessible via Auckland’s train service. Take the Western Line to Kingsland station, which is directly adjacent to the venue.
Auckland has an extensive cycleway network, which means you can get almost anywhere in the city via bicycle. Eden Park is located very near (400 metres west of) the Dominion Road bicycle route. Once you arrive at the venue, you can find bicycle racks at Gates B, D, and G.
Eden Park is about 50 minutes (4 km) away from Auckland city centre and therefore it may not be suitable to walk to your event, unless you are staying nearer to the venue.
