Primož Roglič is a Slovenian professional cyclist who competes in the road cycling discipline. He rides for UCI WorldTeam Team Jumbo-Visma. After originally training as a ski jumper, he came to cycling later in life but has still been hugely successful. Most notably, he won the Vuelta a España 3 years in a row.
At the 2017 Tour de France, Roglič became the first Slovenian to win a stage and, in 2019, he won his first Vuelta a España. He also finished the third at the 2019 Giro d'Italia, and second at the 2020 Tour de France. He won the Vuelta a España in 2020, defending his title from the previous year. In 2021, he won an Olympic gold medal in the men's individual time trial at the rescheduled 2020 Tokyo Games and then went on to win his third Vuelta in a row. In 2022, he claimed overall victories at the Paris-Nice and the Critérium du Dauphiné. In 2023, he won the Giro d'Italia, the Tirreno-Adriatico, and the Volta a Catalunya.
