Acting as the semifinal round of the MLB Postseason, the League Championship Series (LCS) has been played since 1969. The ALCS and NLCS see the 2 remaining playoff teams on both the American League and National League sides of the bracket face off in a best-of-7-series to see which franchise will be crowned champions of their respective league. The National League Champions and American League Champions will then go on to meet up in the World Series.
