Nova Twins are an English rock duo from London, England, formed in 2014 by vocalist and guitarist Amy Love and bassist Georgia South. Their sound fuses punk, alternative rock, rap rock, nu metal and elements of grime into a distinctive, bass‑heavy style.
They introduced themselves with the self‑titled "Nova Twins" EP in 2016, followed by the EPs "Thelma and Louise" and "Mood Swings" in 2017. Their debut album "Who Are the Girls?" arrived in February 2020 and earned strong critical praise and a Heavy Music Award for Best UK Breakthrough Band.
Their second album "Supernova" (2022), released via Marshall Records, brought wider recognition, including a Mercury Prize shortlist and two BRIT Award nominations, while singles such as "Antagonist" and "Taxi" further established their reputation. Alongside extensive touring with major rock acts, they have been prominent advocates for diversity in alternative music.
In August 2025 they released their third album "Parasites & Butterflies", pushing their hybrid rock sound into more expansive and experimental territory while cementing their status as one of the UKs most forward‑thinking rock groups.
