Parking is at a premium near the stadium, but there are a couple of options, if you must travel by car.
Park & Ride
There are 2 conveniently-located park & ride car parks which offer complimentary Metrolink travel to the stadium site. These are located at Ashton West, to the east of the stadium, and Abraham Moss, to the north.
Off-Site Parking
There are very few conveniently-located car parks near to the stadium. Those that are within walking distance are only short-stay, attached to other businesses, and are unlikely to incur a fee:
Street Parking
Street parking is strictly discouraged - there is a residents-only parking scheme on the roads surrounding the venue, and vehicles which infringe on this order can be clamped or towed.
It takes only 10-15 minutes to travel to the stadium from Manchester city centre.

As a major English city, Manchester’s accommodation can be quite costly, although there are a number of brilliant budget hotels and hostels for those watching their pennies. Manchester is certainly not short of swanky modern and grand traditional high-end hotels for those more concerned about luxury either.

The Manchester Metrolink stops at the Velopark tram stop, which is less than a 300 m (4 min) walk from the stadium. There are also Metrolink park & ride services which travel from the following car parks:
If you're travelling from further afield and wish to use the train, the closest station to the stadium is Ashburys, which is a 1.1 km (13 min) walk away. From Manchester Piccadilly, the stadium is a 3.0 km (36 min) walk, or a 10-15 minute taxi journey. You can also get the bus or Metrolink from Manchester Piccadilly.
It takes less than 15 minutes to cycle to the stadium from Manchester city centre, with the quickest routes being those along Ashton Old Road/Alan Turing Way and Merrill Street/Ashton New Road. If you wish to elongate your route from the city centre, there are plenty of green spaces to the north and west of the venue.
There are multiple bike racks at the stadium.
It is an approximately 30 minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly station to the stadium, via a signposted, well-lit walking route. Follow the City Link signs to the stadium.
