Lyon is served by 2 major rail hubs: Gare de la Part-Dieu and Lyon Perrache. Lyon Part Dieu is located a 20-35 minute taxi ride from the stadium, or simply catch the T3 tram to Décines Grand Large tram stop, which is located an 1.0 km (12 min) walk from the stadium. The tram journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Lyon Perrache is also located a similar distance away by taxi. If you wish to take public transport from the station to the stadium, catch the A metro to Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie, then take the T7 tram to Décines OL Vallée, which is located just 400 m (5 min) from the venue.
If you are travelling from the east side of Lyon it is possible to cycle to the stadium: from the Vaulx En Velin commune, for example, it can take just 20 minutes. From central Lyon, however, the journey will take closer to 45-50 minutes on 2 wheels, so travelling part of the way by other means may be quicker.
There are free cycle racks for push bikes under the stadium access ramp (Porte A), located by Allée des Lumières, to the right of the Olympique Lyonnais club shop.
Free motorcycle parking is available in Car Park P4.
From the suburbs and communes close to the stadium, walking is viable way to reach the Groupama Stadium; from Décines-Charpieu, for example, it takes just 15 minutes to make the journey on foot. From further afield, however, the journey is obviously much longer, so would-be pedestrians may wish to make part or all of the journey by other means, especially if travelling from central Lyon.
