The Groupama Stadium is located in Décines-Charpieu, approximately 12 km to the east of central Lyon. It can be reached by car - there is plenty of on-site parking - as well as by bus, tram, and taxi. For those travelling from the east side of Lyon, walking and cycling are also viable options.

Free event day parking is sometimes included with tickets at the Groupama Stadium, but this can differ event-by-event. In cases where it is not included, please note that pre-purchasing parking tickets online for event day travel is required prior to most events at the Groupama Stadium; tickets cannot always be purchased upon arrival. Event day parking
Drivers should enter the stadium complex through Gate 6, which is accessed via junction 7 of the east ring road. Car parking is then available in both the indoor (P2, P4, & P6), and outdoor (P1, P3, P5, & P7) car parks. All car parks open approximately 2 hours 45 minutes before the start of events.

Non-event day parking
Free parking is available in car park P4 on non-event days. No parking pass is necessary.
From central Lyon it takes approximately 20-30 minutes to reach the Groupama Stadium by car. There is a taxi and rideshare drop-off point located next to the stadium training centre, which is accessed via Gate 1.
Free event day transport is often included with tickets at the Groupama Stadium, but this can differ event-by-event. Public buses - event days
Shuttle buses usually begin ferrying ticket holders from nearby car parks to the stadium 2 hours 30 minutes before events begin. Shuttle buses can be caught from the following locations:
Shuttle buses from both departure points arrive at the Groupama Stadium esplanade in less than 15 minutes. Buses then return regularly to both car parks, following the conclusion of events.
Public buses - non-event days
On non-event days, the following bus routes can be used to access the stadium:

Private coaches can park in car park P1, which can be accessed via Gate 7.
Although Lyon is a major French city, prices are surprisingly reasonable when it comes to what to eat and where to stay. However, the city has a wide range of accommodation options, from bourjois boutiques and luxury hotel brands to trendy hostels.
There are multiple concessions counters within the stadium at which attendees can buy food and drink. Those who wish to have a more private lunch or dinner should dine at the Brasserie des Lumières on Level 2. Reserving a table in advance is recommended.
Cans and glass vessels are not permitted to brought into the stadium.
Re-entry is usually permitted at events at the stadium, but visitors should check with stadium staff before exiting the venue. At some sports events, for example football matches, re-entry is not permitted after the 60th minute of play.
Toilets are located throughout the stadium.
Accessibility
Access for people with disabilities is located on the right of the North-West ramp.
There are 350 viewing bays and accessible seats available for disabled spectators inside the stadium. For wheelchair users specifically, there are 202 places in the West and East Stands, with companion seats located in close proximity to all bays. There are also removable seats in the lounges and in each box of the stadium, allowing wheelchair users to access hospitality spaces.
Within the stadium, there are lifts providing access to the different levels of the stadium, and sales tills have lowered counters which are suitable for wheelchair users.
At most events, the Groupama Stadium provides full audio description equipment for the blind and visually impaired. Speak to stadium staff upon entry to enquire.

Disabled-accessible toilets are located throughout the venue.
Assistance dogs
Assistance and guide dogs are welcome at the stadium, however those requiring use of assistance dogs should note that there are limited spaces available for them, and bowls are not provided for dogs, so owners should bring their own. Moreover, those requiring assistance dogs should alert the stadium ticket office by email in advance of their visit, so any necessary requirements can be accommodated: billetteriehandi@ol.fr.

Rail - all days
Lyon is served by 2 major rail hubs: Gare de la Part-Dieu and Lyon Perrache. Lyon Part Dieu is located a 20-35 minute taxi ride from the stadium, or simply catch the T3 tram to Décines Grand Large tram stop, which is located an 1.0 km (12 min) walk from the stadium. The tram journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Lyon Perrache is also located a similar distance away by taxi. If you wish to take public transport from the station to the stadium, catch the A metro to Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie, then take the T7 tram to Décines OL Vallée, which is located just 400 m (5 min) from the venue.
If you are travelling from the east side of Lyon it is possible to cycle to the stadium: from the Vaulx En Velin commune, for example, it can take just 20 minutes. From central Lyon, however, the journey will take closer to 45-50 minutes on 2 wheels, so travelling part of the way by other means may be quicker.
There are free cycle racks for push bikes under the stadium access ramp (Porte A), located by Allée des Lumières, to the right of the Olympique Lyonnais club shop.
Free motorcycle parking is available in Car Park P4.
From the suburbs and communes close to the stadium, walking is viable way to reach the Groupama Stadium; from Décines-Charpieu, for example, it takes just 15 minutes to make the journey on foot. From further afield, however, the journey is obviously much longer, so would-be pedestrians may wish to make part or all of the journey by other means, especially if travelling from central Lyon.
