The Keeneland Spring Meet is a thrilling racing meeting for thoroughbred horses held annually in April at Keeneland Race Course in Kentucky, USA.
Tradition, beauty, and world-class horses make Keeneland racing a spectacle to behold. For more than 8 decades, the best horses, owners, jockeys, and trainers have competed at Keeneland in the Spring Meet to experience "racing as it was meant to be". Keeneland takes pride in maintaining racing traditions and the overwhelming feeling of history at the course gives racegoers a day at the races to remember. The meeting is one of the richest in North America, with 15 graded stakes races featuring the Blue Grass Stakes, a prep race for the Kentucky Derby.
The Spring Meet takes place across 15 days through April, with no racing on Mondays or Tuesdays.
Keeneland Spring Meet Tickets
At Keeneland Race Course, there are areas offering unreserved and reserved seats along with a number of restaurant packages and private hospitality options which can be pre-booked. Racegoers purchase a ticket for a full day of racing (there is no racing on Mondays and Tuesdays during the meet) or a season pass with access to the following:
- Reserved Grandstand - fans can watch the races outside from individual seats within the Grandstand with an excellent view of the track. This seating offers backs and armrests and is undercover from the elements
- General admission - allows fans to take advantage of open seating on the Track Apron benches, North Terrace, and open indoor seating. Racegoers may walk about the grounds and access mutuel tellers, concessions, bars, and restrooms
