🏟️ Address: Aviva Stadium, Lansdowne Rd, Dublin, 4, Ireland Directions in Google Maps
There is no car parking on-site on event days; walking to the stadium is recommended.
All regular Dublin Bus services have low level floors and can accommodate two wheelchair users.
Some convenient routes from Dublin city centre include:
Lansdowne Road station is adjacent to the stadium and provides main line rail (DART) services that go to and from Dublin city centre in approximately 10 minutes. Tara Street station and Dublin Pearse station are the 2 closest stations to Lansdowne Road, and are recommended for fans travelling from within central Dublin.
The stadium is also accessible by tram (LUAS). From Dublin city centre take the Green Line from Harcourt to Westmoreland Street. From Tara Street (a 300 m (4 min) walk around the corner from Westmoreland St.), you can catch the DART to Lansdowne Road.
Dublin Port is not too far from the stadium, and can be accessed from select ports in Western Europe, as well as the UK. The port is a 3.9 km (47 min) walk from the venue, or a 10-15 minute drive - take the Alexandra Road out of the Port, then cross the River Liffey via the R131, and then take Newbridge Avenue to the stadium itself.
Though the stadium's location means cycling is possible, there is no bike parking/locking on-site on match days.
Walking is a recommended means of reaching the venue, and is a popular way for people to get to matches - it takes around 30-40 minutes from central Dublin.
If you would like to stay as near to the stadium as possible, the upmarket area of Ballsbridge is less than a 10-minute walk from the venue. However, the stadium's proximity to the city and good transport links makes staying anywhere in the city an option.
Dublin Airport (DUB) is located 10 km south of Dublin and can be reached by public bus, private coach (Aircoach, Bus Éireann, Expressway, City Link, Translink)…
Get in the game at the GAA Museum - located at Croke Park, the most revered stadium in the world of Gaelic Games (hurling, Gaelic football, handball, and camogie) - this museum tells the story of Ireland's beloved national sports
