Durham CCC is a cricket club that takes part in the County Championship, One Day Cup, and Vitality Blast. Established in 1882, Durham did not begin playing first-class cricket until 1992. In a remarkably short time, the club transformed from newcomers to a force within English cricket. Among the team's greatest achievements are County Championship titles in 2008, 2009, and 2013, and One Day Cup victories in 2007 and 2014.
