📜 Brighton & Hove Albion Women History
The club was founded by Post Office workers in 1967, known at the time as Brighton GPO, and 2 years later they were among the 6 founding members of the Sussex Marlet Women's League (now the South East Counties Women's Football League).
In 1990 they became affiliated with the Brighton & Hove Albion men's team.
The team reached the women's top flight for the first time in 2018 when the league was restructured and their application was approved.
