Boston Legacy Football Club, commonly known as Legacy FC, is a professional women’s football club based in Boston, United States. The team competes in the National Women’s Soccer League, the top tier of women’s football in the country.
Founded in 2023 by the women-led ownership group Boston Unity Soccer Partners, the club was first introduced under the name BOS Nation FC before extensive supporter feedback prompted a full rebrand to Boston Legacy FC in 2025. The club’s identity centres on a crest featuring an eight-feathered swan on a green and black shield, reflecting both the original NWSL teams and Boston landmarks. Legacy FC made its league debut in 2026, playing its inaugural season at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough while White Stadium in Franklin Park, Boston, undergoes renovation to become the team’s long-term home. The club seeks to revive top-level women’s football in Greater Boston and to build a community-focused, impact-driven sporting legacy.
