Birmingham Phoenix Women are an English 100-ball cricket team that compete in The Hundred. The team play their home games at Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham.
📜 Birmingham Phoenix Women History
Established in 2019, Birmingham Phoenix Women represent the historic cricketing counties of Warwickshire and Worcestershire in England's 100-ball cricket tournament The Hundred.
In the inaugural Hundred tournament in 2021, Birmingham Phoenix Women finished third in the table, but were knocked out in The Eliminator by eventual winners Oval Invincibles Women. The team finished fourth in 2022, just missing out on the playoffs.
In early 2023, Australia legend Ellyse Perry was named as captain of Birmingham Phoenix Women for the 2023 edition of The Hundred.
