Sydney Showground Stadium is located within the Sydney Olympic Park, on the west side of the city, less than 20 km from both central Sydney and Sydney airport. It can can be easily accessed by car, and also has abundant public transport links. Travellers coming from nearby may also be able to walk or cycle to the stadium.

Parking is subject to availability, so it is recommended you pre-book it in advance, which can be done online up to the day before the event here.
Car parks P2 and P4 are open-air, so they're ideal if you're arriving in a taller-than-average vehicle.

There are also on-street accessible spaces at the following locations: Showground Road (8 spaces), Herb Elliott Avenue (3), Murray Rose Ave east (1), Dawn Fraser Avenue west (5), and Olympic Boulevard south (10). Please note, during large or multiple events at Sydney Olympic Park, these may not be available due to road closures.
You can pre-book a standard space in your preferred car park online and then use an accessible space on the day of your visit (early arrival is recommended) or by calling 1300 665 915. You will be required to display an RTA mobility parking scheme permit to avoid a fine.
Disabled spectators can also be dropped-off and picked-up on Dawn Fraser Ave.

Spectators are permitted to bring in homemade food for personal consumption, however commercial or takeaway food cannot be brought into the stadium from outside. Non-alcoholic beverages can also be brought into the stadium from outside, with the exception of alcohol, or drinks stored in cans or glass containers.
Coolers, cool bags, and eskies are permitted, provided they are small enough to fit under a stadium seat.
For those wishing to purchase food or drink within the stadium, there are more than 10 different vendors located around the stadium, as well as multiple in-house stadium bars. A wide selection is available from the vendors, ranging from schnitzels, hot dogs, and noodles, to ice cream and smoothies.
Re-entry is permitted at some Sydney Showground Stadium events, but check with stadium staff when entering the venue, as the policy is not universally applied across all events.
Toilets are located throughout the stadium. Parenting rooms are available in the outer concourse, behind the Members Stand.
There is a taxi rank located by the Novotel hotel on Olympic Boulevard, just a 1.0 km (12 min) walk from the stadium.

The following public bus routes stop close to Sydney Showground Stadium:
Bus routes 525, 526, and 533 operate 7 days a week, from early morning until late evening. The N81 service operates from Mondays to Saturdays , during early morning only.
Olympic Park Station is only an 850 m (10 min) walk from Sydney Showground Stadium, and is well-connected to Sydney as part of the T1 and T7 train lines. Services to and from the city centre take only 30 minutes.
Lidcombe station is also well-connected, and can be used as an interchange for other services. It is a 3.8 km (46 min) walk from the Accor Stadium, but you can also catch the 401 bus service to the Carter Street at Uhrig Rd bus stop, which is located a 1.6 km (19 min) walk from the Showground.
The stadium is a 3.7 km (44 min) walk from Sydney Olympic Park Wharf, which is accessible via the F3 ferry, which runs along the Parramatta River from Parramatta to Circular Quay. Alternatively, take the 526 bus from the wharf to the Olympic Park Station bus stops, which are located a 1.2 km (14 min) walk from the Showground.
There are more than 50 bike racks located throughout the Olympic Park, so you're never short on places to leave your bike. There are also Bike Safari Olympic Circuits throughout the Olympic Park, providing bike-friendly routes which run past several of the site's major landmarks.
Due to the often hot temperatures in Sydney, cyclists are encouraged to plan routes in advance and stay hydrated; long bike rides should be undertaken with caution.
It is pleasant to walk around Sydney Olympic Park, and you are never far from Sydney's picturesque waterways! Although is may not be feasible to make the entire journey to the Sydney Showground Stadium on foot, for example if you are travelling from central Sydney or one of the city's outer suburbs, it is well worth making at least part of your journey on foot. From nearby suburbs, such as Auburn, Burwood, and Ryde, it is not too long a walk – often less than 6.0 km (72 min).
