The golf trio will comprise part of the 2021 European Tour season’s 6-week “UK Swing,” which was introduced last year when the Tour was forced to reorganise its schedule as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The UK Swing will begin on 8 July with the abrdn Scottish Open at the Renaissance Club in North Berwick, before continuing with the 149th Open Championship at Royal and St. George’s a week later. The Cazoo Open – formerly known as the Wales Open – will be held at Celtic Manor Resort in Newport from 22-25 July, and the month will finish with the ISPS Handa World Invitational in Northern Ireland. The Hero Open takes place 5-8 August at Fairmont St. Andrews and the Cazoo Classic – formerly the English Open – will conclude the UK Swing from 12-15 August at London Golf Club.

The Cazoo Open was held last year for the first time since 2014, returning once again to Celtic Manor’s Twenty-Ten Course, which was developed for the 2010 Ryder Cup. The English Open – which had not been held since 2002 – was also revived as the Hero Open last year. The English Open has this year been renamed the Cazoo Classic as part of the car retailer’s new partnership with the European Tour, while a new tournament bearing the Hero Open name will now be played in Scotland.
In all 3 events, only general admission Grounds tickets are available this year. Children 12 and under are allowed in for free, while teenagers aged between 13 and 17 are eligible for discounted concessions tickets. At the Cazoo Classic and the Hero Open, seniors aged 60 and older may also purchase concessions tickets. Adult tickets for tournament days at the Cazoo Open and the Hero Open cost just £24, while at the Cazoo Classic they’re priced at £29.
