The 2022 Call of Duty League season is far from over, but there’s already been a host of top-tier esports action, making it one of the most memorable campaigns in the tournament’s short history. In March, OpTic Texas claimed the first Major of the season on home soil, then in April the Los Angeles Guerrillas triumphed in Minnesota, before Seattle Surge came out on top in Toronto, back in June. In mid-July, the fourth and final Call of Duty League Major of the season will take place in New York, in what is sure to be a thrilling conclusion to the regular season. These showpiece events are always exciting in their own right, but they have also been elevated by the welcome return of live crowds. The 2022 Championship Weekend will be no different, with Call of Duty League fans set to attend the season’s grand finale in-person.
The Championship Weekend will this year take place between 4-7 August, at the Galen Center, in Los Angeles, lending a bit of extra glitz-and-glam to the slow-motion kill-cams. Fans of all stripes will already be keen to see their team crowned Call of Duty League champions, but there's no need to fire-up the grenade launcher just yet – tickets are now on general sale, allowing spectators to book their place at the Championship Weekend, without the need for any drop-shots, frags, or 360-no-scopes.
Tickets are available on a General Admission basis across all Championship Weekend days. Prices for the Play-Off days (Thursday 4 – Saturday 6 August) start at USD $29, and there’s also the chance to purchase a “Play-Offs Pass”, which grants access to all 3 Play-Off days. Tickets for the Championship day – Sunday 7 August – start at $51. With just a few weeks until the action gets underway, it’s time to gather your clan and head to LA!
