The 2023-24 NBA season may be winding down, but the action is hotting up on the court as the NBA Playoffs continue, and the fun doesn’t stop there when the postseason competition draws to a close. There’s plenty of fun to be had in the offseason, most notably when the NBA Summer League comes around again from 12-22 July.
Held at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, the NBA Summer League gives spectators the chance to witness every team in the National Basketball Association in-person over the course of a spectacular 11-day, 76-game competition.
Games are slightly shortened to 40 minutes (they’re comprised of 10-minute quarters rather than the traditional 12) and there are up to 8 fixtures held each day, with every team in the league playing 5 games. A championship game is held on the final day between the 2 teams with the best records. The Cleveland Cavaliers claimed the 2023 title over the Houston Rockets.
Not only do fans get to see every NBA team all in one place – including a look at the next generation of talent coming through as teams experiment with alternative rosters – they also typically enjoy much greater access to the players than they would at a regular season game. You might get an autograph from your favourite player or a selfie with a future All-Star!
General Admission tickets – which grant access to every game played that day – start at USD $62 for adults. That’s less than $8 per game on a full day of fixtures! Meanwhile, a season ticket covering all 11 days of the event costs $530. An array of premium tickets are also available, with General Admission Plus tickets – which provide NBA EXP Lounge access and complimentary food and beverages – starting from $214 per day.
