The PGA Tour season is well under way; big hits like the Waste Management Phoenix Open and the Genesis Invitational have come and gone, but there are still plenty of highlights to enjoy in the coming months, from The Players Championship and the WGC Match Play to the AT&T Byron Nelson and the Travelers Championship – not to mention the majors!
Throughout all of it, the FedEx Cup will continue to gather pace, with the players accruing points over the course of the campaign. From 24-27 August, that will all come to a spectacular head with the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta.
Only the PGA Tour’s top 30 performing players make it to the season finale, so spectators will only see an exclusive collection of the best players in the world in action, each competing for the winner’s share of a staggering $75 million prize purse. What does that mean? Unmissable, world-class entertainment and drama!
The reigning champion is Rory McIlroy, who equalled Tiger Woods’ record of 3 wins in the competition in 2022, following victories in 2016 and 2019. The Northern Irishman triumphed despite starting the event 6 shots back on points leader Scottie Scheffler, who kicked off the tournament on 10-under par thanks to his position atop the FedEx Cup standings.
General admission Grounds tickets start at USD $38 for the practice round or $82 for the first tournament round, while hospitality starts at $191 or $229, respectively. To find out more information about the Tour Championship and its tickets, click here.
