Following yet another gripping Overwatch League campaign, during which teams from both the East and West Regions have competed for the season’s spoils, the stage is once again set for a thrilling showdown, with the title of Overwatch League champions at stake.
Aptly, it will be the city known as “The 6ix”, Toronto, which hosts the finale of the competition’s sixth season, and whilst local heroes Toronto Defiant have failed to make the grade this year, there will nonetheless be plenty for fans to cheer for, as 8 of the league’s strongest teams are set to do battle. Of the West Region teams, Atlanta Reign, Boston Uprising, Hangzhou Spark, and London Spitfire have all earnt the right to vie for a grand final berth, whilst in the East Region bracket, Florida Mayhem, Houston Outlaws, Seoul Inferno, and reigning champions Dallas Fuel will all be competing. First round ties will commence on 28 September, with the event concluding on 1 October, with the all-important grand final tie.
For fans who are yet to grab tickets, there is still a range of seats available within the Mattamy Athletic Centre. Official day ticket prices start from CAD $48 (USD $36), including fees, in the Bowl tier, whilst 4-Day Passes in Bowl seating start from CAD $140 (USD $104), including fees.
