Known as the “World Cup of Tennis”, the Davis Cup is the most prestigious men’s team tennis tournament on the planet, having first taken place way back in 1900. Today, approximately 200 national sides, comprised of both Grand Slam stars and semi-professionals alike, compete virtually all year-round, fighting to make it to the competition’s latter stages - the Davis Cup Finals.
The Davis Cup Finals are comprised of a group stage, made-up of 4 groups of 4 teams each, and a Knock-Out Stage, which sees 8 of the 16 teams compete across quarterfinals, semifinals, and a grand final. Whilst the Knock-Out Stages won’t take place until November 2022, the Group Stages will be played across 4 European cities between 13-18 September 2022, providing 6 action-packed days of singles and doubles drama.

Each of the 4 destinations will host a single group, with 1 tie played in each city, on each of the 6 days. Group A – Argentina, Croatia, Italy, and Sweden – will be based in Bologna, Italy, whilst Valencia, in Spain, will host Group B – Canada, Korea Republic, Serbia, and Spain. Hamburg will be home to Australia, Belgium, France, and home side Germany, who will all do battle in Group C, and Glasgow will host Group D: Great Britain, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, and the USA. The high quality of the 16 teams of course means that plenty of household names will be flying the flag for their country during the Finals: Grand Slam champs Marin Čilić (Croatia), Novak Djokovic (Serbia), and Andy Murray (Great Britain) are all set to appear, as well as a host of other highly-decorated top-tier players.
What’s more, whether you’re drawn to the competition by its fantastic player field, or just want to cheer on your favourite team, it’s not too late to buy tickets to the event. In all cities except Bologna, tickets are on sale in ranked categories, with seats in the Premium and Category 1 areas providing the best views of the court. In Bologna tickets are sold by seating section. It is also worth noting that across all 4 cities, Davis Cup Finals Group Stage tickets are available in many types. Day tickets are available to purchase in all cities except Hamburg, providing a reserved seat on the show court for an entire tie. “Follow Your Team” ticket packages are also available, in all cities except Bologna; these tickets allow the holder to reserve a seat for all 3 of their chosen nation’s ties – perfect for fans who want to grab a flag and don their national colours! A range of other multi-day tickets are also on offer, ranging from 2 days to all 6 days of the Group Stages.
Day ticket prices start from EUR €29.70 (USD $29.44) in Bologna, from €27.00 ($26.76) in Valencia, and from GBP £10 ($11.48) in Glasgow. In Hamburg, 2-day ticket packages start from €128.50 ($127.38).
