Held annually since 1976 at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island, the Hall of Fame Open is one of the more unique events on the men’s ATP 250 tennis tour. As well as being staged in the grounds of the Hall of Fame museum itself, the event also holds the distinction of being the only professional grass court event in North America. It is also notable as, unlike other grass court events, it does not precede Wimbledon in the annual tennis calendar. Instead, the Hall of Fame Open is held the week after the Grand Slam, relying therefore not on top-10 stars to draw the crowds every year, but on a diverse, unpredictable player field.

As well as showcasing some lesser-known but nonetheless exciting match-ups on its grass courts, the tournament also sees the induction of a small number of tennis greats into the Hall of Fame each year, with a lavish ceremony taking place the night before finals day. The 2023 Hall of Fame Open will take place between 16-23 July; the induction ceremony will take place on the night of 22 July. With ticket sales now open for this distinctive event, fans can book a courtside seat for a full day’s play, as well as an induction ceremony seat, for when 2023’s Hall of Famers are unveiled.
Main draw ticket prices start at USD $45, including fees, in the South Stand, though adult General Admission tickets for the qualifying day, 16 July, start at just $31, including fees. Induction ceremony tickets, meanwhile, start at $40, including fees. For fans who are happy to pay slightly more, Shaded Box Seat day tickets start at £115, including fees. Series Packages, which provide access to the same reserved seat for all main draw days, start at $390, including fees, in the South Stand.
