Up to 1,300 spectators will be able to buy tickets for each day of the Müller British Athletics Championships, taking place at Manchester Regional Arena between 25-27 June 2021. Tickets go on general sale Monday, 21 June, with prices starting at £5.30 for juniors (U16s) and £10.60 for adults. Fans can select their preferred seating block at the point of purchase, and seats will be socially distanced and sold in singles or pairs only.
It's great news for spectators and athletes alike, who have long missed the electric atmosphere of the track and the irrefutable roar of the crowds since the COVID-19 pandemic prohibited fans from attending events. The occasion will see the very best male and female athletes in Britain compete head-to-head for gold, silver, and bronze, as well as a wildly coveted spot in this year's Tokyo Olympic Games.
Britain's multiple Olympic and World Champion, Sir Mo Farah, hopes to beat the 10,000 m qualifying standard for the Tokyo Games at an invitational race on the first day of the Müller British Athletics Championships.
Farah managed to run an impressive 27:50.64 at the 10,000 m European Cup in Birmingham earlier this month, yet it wasn't enough to qualify for the Olympic standard time of 27:28.00. Despite finishing 8th in the race overall, Farah was the 2nd-placed British athlete. As a result, he still can be selected for the team going to Tokyo if he manages the faster time at the British Championships in Manchester.

Mo is determined to give it another go, despite suffering an ankle injury earned from the European Cup race. The resilient British Champion is ready to take another crack at the Olympic qualifying mark in the 10,000 m race on Friday, 25 June.
Among those already confirmed for Olympic selection include British silver medallist Eilish McColgan, who secured her place on Team GB at the Birmingham British Olympic trials after winning the 10,000 m European cup race. For her third Games, McColgan will be chasing gold for her first ever Olympic title.

We wish all the best to Farah, McColgan, and all the other talented athletes competing at the Müller British Athletics Championships, which promises to be a thrilling weekend of action!
