A favourite with fans since it was introduced in 2005, Premier League Darts is unlike any other tournament in the sport. Played weekly on Thursday nights between February – May, the tournament features matchups between a select group of the game’s biggest stars, in cities from Glasgow to Rotterdam. After 16 weeks of action, just 4 players qualify for the playoffs in London, with a total prize pot of £1,000,000 on the line.

Part of what makes the Premier League special is its concept. A weekly format with outright winners crowned each Thursday makes every night exciting, while the cumulative Premier League table keeps fans invested as players battle to make the playoffs.
Better still, the Premier League brings darts to the fans. Unlike the World Championship or World Matchplay with their fixed venues, Premier League Darts takes the game on the road, visiting 17 cities across the UK and Europe, meaning many fans can enjoy world-class darts on their doorsteps. These sold-out crowds are known for creating an electric atmosphere that has seen the Premier League dubbed “darts’ biggest party”, adding an extra edge to proceedings and elevating the tournament’s status.
Earlier this week, the PDC confirmed the venues and dates for Premier League Darts in 2025, with Manchester, Aberdeen, Brighton, Exeter, Sheffield, and Berlin all set to welcome the action. The tournament will begin on 6 February 2025 in Belfast and conclude with the playoffs on 29 May in London. Last year’s winner Luke Littler described his 2024 Premier League victory as a “dream come true”, and he will return next year to defend his title against the likes of Michael van Gerwen, Luke Humphries, Rob Cross, Gerwyn Price, and Michael Smith. Tickets are set to go on sale in October, with registration for priority ticket windows available here.
