First held in 1951, the NBA All-Star Game is a celebration of all things basketball and one of the highlights of the NBA season. What began as an exhibition game between the best players from the league’s Eastern and Western Conferences is now a 3-day festival comprised of multiple different events.
The All-Star Game itself is still the centrepiece of the festivities, bringing the weekend to a thrilling conclusion on Sunday night as 24 of the NBA’s biggest stars set aside their usual team rivalries to face off in an epic showdown between East and West. Other highlights include the All-Star Celebrity Game, where you’ll get to see some of your favourite NBA and WNBA players link up with stars from other sports and the world of entertainment, and the All-Star Saturday Night, where players compete in a range of skill, 3-point, and slam dunk challenges. There’s also the NBA Crossover fan event, where basketball fans can take part in activities, meet and greet some of their favourite players, and get their hands on limited-edition merchandise.
In 2025, the main events will be split between Chase Center and Oakland Arena. Here’s the full schedule:

- 14:00, Saturday 15 February – HBCU Classic (Oakland Arena)
- 17:00, Saturday 15 February – NBA All-Star Saturday Night (Chase Center)
- 10:00-18:00, Sunday 16 February – NBA Crossover (Moscone Center)
- 17:30, Sunday 16 February – NBA All-Star Game (Chase Center)
Standard tickets for all of the events except for the All-Star Game are now on sale, with prices varying from event to event. Single-day NBA Crossover access for an adult costs USD $50, while entry to the All-Star Practice & Media Day starts at $60. For events such as the Celebrity Game, you can expect prices to start around $100.
