Like the NFL’s Super Bowl or MLB’s World Series, WrestleMania is WWE’s flagship finale. This year, the “Showcase of the Immortals” was one of the biggest of all-time, thrilling more than 120,000 fans in Philadelphia and laying the groundwork for a new era in the world of professional wrestling. However, unlike many sports, there is no offseason in WWE and the company has already released a loaded lineup of weekly shows and Premium Live Events (PLEs) for the coming months. To help you prepare for a summer of showdowns in the squared-circle, here’s a look at some of the biggest upcoming WWE events:
- Backlash (4 May 2024)
- Clash at the Castle (15 June 2024)
- Money in the Bank (6 July 2024)
- SummerSlam (3 August 2024)
- Bash in Berlin (31 August 2024)
Backlash (4 May 2024)
LDLC Arena, Lyon-Décines, France
While WWE has staged house shows in France many times, Backlash on 4 May is set to be the very first Premium Live Event held in the country. Taking place less than 2 months after WrestleMania, the show will feature all the fallout from WWE’s “Show of Shows”, headlined by Cody Rhodes' first title defense as WWE Champion.
Clash at the Castle (15 June 2024)
OVO Hydro, Glasgow, Scotland
WWE’s inaugural Clash at the Castle event took place in Cardiff last year, as more than 60,000 wrestling fans converged on the city’s Principality Stadium. Clash at the Castle returns to the UK in 2024, with Glasgow’s OVO Hydro named as the host venue. Ireland’s Becky Lynch and Finn Bálor are sure to receive a warm welcome back in Europe, but the loudest cheers from a boisterous Glasgow crowd are likely to be directed toward Scotland’s very own Drew McIntyre as he appears at the country’s inaugural Premium Live Event.

Money in the Bank (6 July 2024)
Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, Canada
After a trip to London, England in 2023, Money in the Bank will head to the Great White North in 2024, with Scotiabank Arena in Toronto set to host the event. Toronto is no stranger to major WWE shows, and has previously hosted the company’s 2 biggest PLEs: WrestleMania and SummerSlam. Fans in attendance on 6 July will not only be able to cheer on Canadian stars like Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, but also witness 2 more Money in the Bank ladder matches – the winners of which will be gifted a title shot of their choosing.
SummerSlam (3 August 2024)
Cleveland Browns Stadium, Cleveland, USA
Often dubbed the “Biggest Party of the Summer”, SummerSlam is second only to WrestleMania in terms of wrestling prestige and in 2024, the event heads to Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland. Roman Reigns battled Jey Uso in the main event of last year’s show, and wrestling fans can expect the likes of CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, Damian Priest, and Liv Morgan to be a core part of the action this time round. Sunshine, suplexes, and world-class entertainment – SummerSlam is WWE at its best.

Bash in Berlin (31 August 2024)
Uber Arena, Berlin, Germany
Like neighbouring France, 2024 will be a landmark year for Germany as it hosts its very first WWE Premium Live Event. Bash in Berlin will take place at Uber Arena at the end of August, less than one month after SummerSlam, with Austria’s Gunther and Germany’s Ludwig Kaiser among the names likely to be popular with fans in Continental Europe.
