There are signs for the DW Stadium from a couple of miles away which can help those travelling by car reach the venue. Moreover, the following routes may be used:
Once you have arrived at the stadium, there is on-site parking for 2,000 cars, spread across 5 numbered car parks. Visitors can pay on arrival at either Car Park 1 or Car Park 5. It currently costs £5 for a car, but spectators should note that Car Park 1 is cashless, so only card or digital payments will be accepted.
Please note that visitors to the stadium are discouraged from using the nearby Robin Retail Park car parks for long stays.
It can take less than 10 minutes to reach the DW Stadium by taxi, from Wigan town centre. Drop-offs may be possible in the immediate vicinity of the stadium on some days, but alternative drop-off points include the Robin Retail Park and the Robin Park Arena.

The following bus routes can be used to reach the stadium:
For long-distance coaches, Wigan Bus Station is located a 1.9 km (23 min) walk from the Stadium, or just a 10 to 20 minute taxi or bus ride.
The city's main train stations, Wigan Wallgate and Wigan North Western, are located in close proximity to each other, and an approximately 1.9 km (23 min) walk away from the stadium. Wigan Wallgate is connected to Liverpool, Manchester and other parts of the north-west, whilst Wigan North Western is connected to London, Edinburgh, and Glasgow - as well as the north-west. The journey from either station can take as little as 10 minutes by taxi, or just a few minutes longer by bus: the 3, 4, 10, 352, and 375 are all viable routes to use.
The DW Stadium is located in good proximity to multiple cycle routes and bike lanes. There are free bike racks at the stadium's north-east corner.
It is a 2.0 km (24 min) walk to the stadium from central Wigan, so this is a viable way of reaching the venue if you are staying in the town centre. If you are travelling from further away, it may be advisable to make part of the journey via public transport or taxi, and then continue on foot.
