On-site match day car parking is available at the following locations throughout the Marrara Sporting Complex:
All car parks are free to park in, with the exception of Car Park 9 and sections of Car Park 15, which are ticketed. Free parking spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
All car parks can be accessed off Abala Road, though it should be noted that on the afternoon of event days the road becomes one-way only (north to east, to south, to west, to north), so drivers should allow extra time for their journeys.
Accessible car parking
There is a small number of disabled-accessible car parking spaces within the following car parks:
Most accessible spaces in the above car parks are located in closer proximity to the Marrara Oval than the non-accessible spaces, however the further from the stadium the car park is, the less advantageous the accessible parking is, as the walk to the venue will still be longer. Selecting a car park in close proximity to the stadium is therefore recommended.
Persons wishing to use accessible spaces are usually required to present a valid Australian Disability Parking Permit, or other relevant disability documentation.
Darwin offers a diverse range of accommodation options, from luxury hotels to budget hostels, though it's generally considered on the pricier side due to its remote location and popularity as a gateway to natural attractions.
Darwin International Airport (DRW) – the primary airport serving Darwin, featuring both domestic and international flights with direct connections to destinations…
Experience the Litchfield National Park – a day trip to plunge into waterfalls and swimming holes, and to admire the stunning termite mounds and sandstone formations

Please note that on the afternoon of event days, Abala Road becomes one-way only (north to east, to south, to west, to north), and match day traffic can be very busy; drivers should allow extra time for their journeys.
The following public bus routes also stop close to the Marrara Oval:
Bus routes 2 and 3 operate 7 days a week, from early morning until early evening; bus route number 5 also runs from early morning until early evening, but only between Monday and Friday. Bus routes 22 and 25 run only 3 times a day, from Monday to Friday: 1 morning service goes from Karama to Darwin, and 2 afternoon services go from Darwin to Casuarina, via Karama.

Darwin International Airport, located just a 2.4 km (29 min) walk or 5-minute drive from the Marrara Oval, facilitates private aviators, typically via the strips to the north of the main terminal. Multiple private flight and helicopter tour companies also operate out of the airport. See the Darwin International Aiport for more information.
Cyclists can reach the Marrara Oval from Darwin city centre in approximately 40 minutes, and from some of the city's northern suburbs the journey will be even shorter. There are free bike racks located at the Ah Mat Gate (North Gate) and the Bonson Gate (South Gate), directly outside the stadium turnstiles.
Due to the often hot temperatures in Darwin, people travelling by bike are encouraged to plan routes in advance and stay hydrated; long bike rides should be undertaken with caution.
It can over 2 hours to walk to the Marrara Oval from Darwin city centre. From the Top End Visitor Information Centre, for example, it is a 12.3 km (148 min) walk to the venue. Those travelling from Darwin's northern suburbs, however, may be able to make the journey on foot: from Nightcliff Beach it is a 6.3 km (76 min) walk, and from Casuarina Square shopping centre it is just a 3.3 km (40 min) walk.
