The following public bus routes stop close to the CommBank Stadium:
Parramatta train station is located a 1.3 km (16 min) walk from the stadium. The station is served by multiple routes to and from central Sydney and many of its suburbs.
Westmead train station is also not located far from the stadium - it is just a 1.8 km (22 min) walk away - but it is served by slightly less routes than Parramatta station.
Parramatta wharf is located a 1.3 km (16 min) walk from the CommBank Stadium, allowing fans to travel by Sydney ferry route F3 along the Parramatta River, and then walk to the venue the rest of the way.
It should be noted that Sydney ferries can be busy, and boats may reach capacity on event days or weekends. Moreover, low tides may result in ferries being replaced by buses for some journeys. Travellers should click here to view up-to-date ferry timetables, and to check any low tide times.
It can take less than 5 minutes to cycle to the stadium from central Parramatta, and only 10-15 minutes from Westmead, Northmead, Wentworthville, Oatlands, and other similarly proximate suburbs. There are bike racks in the stadium's north car park, and on the east side of the stadium, just off O'Connell Street.
Cyclists travelling any distance on a bike should also give due attention to the hot climate; planning routes in advance and staying hydrated are both recommended.
The CommBank Stadium is located less than a 1.0 km (12 min) walk from central Parramatta, just across the Parramatta River. From Parramatta, as well as from nearby suburbs such as Westmead and Northmead, it is therefore possible to walk to the venue. From further away, including from central Sydney, the walk is obviously longer, and travelling on foot is not a viable means of reaching the venue.
Pedestrians travelling any distance on foot should also give due attention to the hot climate; planning routes in advance and staying hydrated are both recommended.
