During event days at the stadium, the roads in and around the venue can become very busy. Those intending to drive to the WIN Stadium are advised to allow extra time for their journeys, and arrive early where possible.
On-site parking
There is an on-site stadium car park, the WIN Stadium Car Park, located off Harbour Street, a 230 m (3 min) walk from the stadium. Parking is available on a pay-and-display basis, with special event day parking rates in operation. Those wishing to use the WIN Stadium Car Park should arrive early, as the car park can fill up quickly on event days.

Disabled persons in possession of a mobility parking scheme sticker issued by the North South Wales Government are eligible to park in dedicated accessible spaces within the Stewart Street East Car Park, upon request. Contact via telephone the St. George Illawarra Dragons - the stadium's primary tenants - at least a week in advance of the event you wish to attend in order to reserve a parking space: 02-9587-1966.

As the WIN Stadium is located in central Wollongong, it does not take long to reach the stadium by taxi from most places in and around the city. From Wollongong train station, for example, it can take less than 10 minutes to reach the venue.
There is a dedicated drop-off zone located on Burelli Street, in between Corrimal Street and Harbour Street, less than 200 m (2 min) from the stadium. There are also taxi ranks located on Burelli Street, outside the Steelers Club, a 40 m (1 min) walk from the stadium, and at the junction of Harbour Street and Crown Street, a 110 m (1 min) walk from the stadium.

Match day shuttle buses
On St. George Illawarra Dragons regular season match days, a dedicated shuttle bus service operates between Wollongong rail station and the WIN Stadium. The bus service begins 2 hours prior to kick-off; after the final whistle the bus makes 1 journey to the rail station only.
Wollongong train station, the city's main rail hub, is located a 1.3 km (16 min) walk or 5 to 10-minute taxi ride from the stadium.
The WIN Stadium is located close to Wollongong city centre, so cycling to the venue is a convenient way of attending events for those travelling from within the city or some of its closest suburbs. It can take as little as 5 minutes to cycle to the stadium from Wollongong train station, for example.
Free bike parking is available directly outside the WIN Sports & Entertainment Centres, on Crown Street, an approximately 150 m (2 min) walk from the stadium.
Due to the often hot temperatures in the region, long bike rides should be undertaken with caution, and routes planned in advance. Cyclists are encouraged to stay hydrated when riding to the stadium.

From Wollongong train station, for example, it is a 1.3 km (16 min) walk to the stadium. Those coming from north or south of the stadium may wish to take a scenic detour along one of the city's beaches, before heading in-land to the venue.
