The stadium can be reached easily by car; it is locate close to junction 11 of the M60, and can also be reached by taking the M62/M602.

Disabled parking
For disabled visitors, there is accessible parking in the Salford Community Stadium (West) Car Park, just 30 metres away from the stadium entrance. To book accessible parking see individual fixtures for prices or click the above links. For Salford Red Devils matches, disabled fans can also ring the above phone number. It takes less than 15 minutes to travel to the stadium by car from Eccles station and less than 20 minutes from central Salford. There is a designated drop-off point directly outside the front of the stadium (off Stadium Way). As Stadium Way and the stadium drop-off point both become very busy on match days, those travelling by car are encouraged to allow extra time for their journeys, and arrive early if possible. Pick-ups and departures following the final whistle may take some time, due to the amount of pedestrians leaving the stadium.
Park and ride
There are 2 park and ride services operate on Sale Sharks match days: the Trafford Centre Park and Ride, and the Stockport Shuttle Bus. Both park and ride services drop spectators off at and pick them up from the stadium itself; the park and ride car parks are based at the following locations, and spaces on the shuttles can be pre-booked for specific match days:

There is also an unofficial Sale Sharks shuttle bus service from The Brook pub (Brooklands Road, Sale), which departs 1 hour 30 minutes before kick-off, and returns 30 minutes after the match. This shuttle can be booked by phone: +44 (0) 161-973-7773.

Private coach or minibus
On-site stadium parking is available for private hire coaches and buses along Stadium Way, an approximately 200 m (2 min) walk from the stadium, however pre-booking is essential; for more information, use the online links or telephone number in the Parking section.
The nearest train station to the ground is Eccles train station, which is well-connected to Greater Manchester and the city centre itself. It is a 4.2 km (50 min) walk away from the stadium, or you can make the journey by Metrolink (to the Trafford Centre), or via the 67 bus to Newlands Avenue.
City Airport & Heliport (Barton) is only a 1.0 km (12 min) walk from the stadium - conveniently-located for any spectators who are lucky enough to travel by helicopter.
It takes just over 30 minutes to cycle to the stadium from Sale town centre. From central Manchester, it takes closer to 40 minutes. There are several free bike racks directly outside the stadium, adjacent to the Club Shop entrance (West Stand); these can be accessed via Stadium Way.
It is possible to walk to the stadium from Eccles, Sale, Old Trafford, and other nearby suburbs. The Manchester Ship Canal runs alongside the stadium and is pedestrianised in parts. Travelling on foot from central Salford, Manchester city centre, or beyond, meanwhile, will likely take upwards of 2 hours, so travelling by public transport is recommended.
