Parking at the stadium itself is at a premium, especially on match days - there are just 100 spaces outside the adjacent sports centre - so it is normally necessary to park elsewhere. Fortunately there are several nearby options, but be sure to check the exact terms of your stay on match days.
There is a number of small to medium car parks along Via San Leonardo, the main road adjacent to Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi. Most are found near the junction with Via del Popolo, no more than a 650 m (8 min) walk from the venue. If these are full, try slightly further south, near the shops on Via Sergio Silva - a 1.0 km (12 min) walk from the venue.
Most of these car parks are free to use for between 1 and 2 hours, but many will charge a fee for longer than that. Note too that some car parks may only be more customers of the nearby shops, so do check before leaving your car.
If you catch a taxi from the city centre - the Stazione di Parma train station is a popular pick-up point - you can be at the stadium in less than 10 minutes. The route is direct, and generally inexpensive, and you can be dropped within the stadium complex or at the nearby shopping centre.
Although Parma has its touristy aspects, it is much quieter than the likes of Rome, Florence, and Venice, and therefore much cheaper. Whether you’re looking for a private local apartment in the city centre or a boutique hotel in a chic neighbourhood, the city is sure to have it.

It is very straightforward to get to Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi by bus from central Parma, with most journeys taking no more than 20 minutes in total. A couple of bus routes depart from Stazione di Parma, the city's principal train station:

Stazione di Parma is the main train station in the city, located in the North Centro area of the city centre. It serves major Italian cities such as Bari, Milan, and Turin, as well as other regional towns. You can walk from the station to the venue - it is a 2.1 km (25 min) walk north along Via San Leonardo - or you can catch a bus or hail a taxi from directly outside the station.
Cycling to the ground is straightforward from the city centre, or from nearby suburbs in the north of Parma, and routes tend to be quite flat. From the city centre you can take either Via San Leonardo, or Viale Europa - neither route should take longer than 15 to 20 minutes.
The riverside also provides a nice bike ride - cross from the west side at Ponte (bridge) Europa and make your way north-east along Viale Europa.
It is just a 2.0 km (24 min) walk from Parma city centre to the stadium, and it is direct route too - simply make your way northwards, and join Via San Leonardo, a main road lined with shops and eateries. Cross the north ring road (Tangenziale Nord), and from there it is just a 650 m (8 min) walk, with the stadium appearing on your left.
A more scenic walk is available if you make your way along the Parma river in the west side of the city centre, crossing over at Ponte (bridge) Europa, and making your way north-east to the stadium, which will be on your right.
Alternatively, if you prefer a greener but slightly longer route, make your way through the parks and gardens in the east of the city centre, and join Via San Leonardo further north.
