Private buses and coaches

Lille is very well connected not only to other French cities, but also Brussels and London, via high-speed rail. There are 2 main rail stations in the city, Lille-Europe and Lille-Flandres. The former station is primarily served by high-speed and international rail routes, whilst Lille-Flandres is served by more local and regional services, as well as some Belgian connections.
Both stations are located just an 800 m (10 min) walk away from each other, in central Lille. Those wishing to travel from either station to the stadium can do so via the Lille metro system, in less than 20 minutes: from Lille-Flandres, ride the M1 line to either the Cité Scientifique or 4 Cantons stops, which are both located less than a 1.1 km (14 min) walk from the Stade Pierre Mauroy.
On event days, travellers can also take the M2 line from Lille-Europe to Les Près station, and then take a free shuttle bus from this station to the stadium.
From central Lille it takes approximately 25 minutes to cycle to the stadium. There are cycle paths along some stretches of the most direct routes, for example along the M146, allowing cyclists to travel more safely than on normal roads or pavements.
There are more than 1,000 covered bike racks located around the stadium perimeter. Free motorcycle parking is available on event days in the A1 Motorcycle Car Park, which is accessible off Rue de la Volonté.
Visitors coming from Villeneuve-d'Ascq and other nearby suburbs are able to walk to the Stade Pierre Mauroy in less than 30 minutes. However, it can take over an hour to walk to the stadium from central Lille, so travellers coming from the city centre may wish to travel by other means, or walk only part of the way.
Although Lille is most recognised for its historic centre filled with baroque monuments and landmarks, this area represents just one side to the multifaceted city. There are so many other neighbourhoods within the city centre that promise an equally unforgettable stay in Lille.
Strategically located at the heart of the London-Paris-Brussels triangle, the stadium is easily accessible by both TGV and TER. If you will be traveling…
