The Joan Gamper Trophy is an annual friendly hosted by Barcelona, typically held in August before the start of the La Liga season. It was founded in 1966 and is named after Barcelona founding member Joan Gamper, who went onto serve the club as both a player and later as president.

Until 1997, it was contested by 4 teams, but since then it has been a single match between Barcelona and a visiting team at the Camp Nou.

On some occasions, the event has been a double-header with back-to-back matches; 1 between the Barcelona men's team and their opponents, and the other between Barcelona Femeni and their counterparts.
